Dymedix Gemini Sensor
(Disposable Combination Oral and Nasal Airflow & Snore Sensor)

The Gemini sensor produces both airflow and snoring waveforms on 2 separate PSG channels from one sensor. The polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) film technology measures both temperature and pressure changes, linearly. Thermistors and thermocouples produce an averaged sinusoidal waveform that is not representative of real breathing patterns. Dymedix sensors with their PVDF-enhanced sensitivity show accurate waveforms which are not averaged. The adapter cable used with this sensor has noise-cancellation circuitry (patent pending) which provides a clearer signal than other sensors. Gemini sensors are small, lightweight, self-adhering and available in 5 sizes for increased comfort.
