So what is PVDF and why should I care?
Q: So what is PVDF and why should I care?
A: PVDF stands for polyvinylidene fluoride. The PVDF polymer film is an incredibly sensitive film that produces voltage output in one of two ways. PVDF can sense the smallest temperature change (pyro effect) or the smallest vibration change (piezo effect).
So what? What that means is that by using Dymedix’ PVDF technology you are able to measure any touch or pressure changes or any temperature changes far more precisely than older technologies can.
